About Chevrolet Trailblazer MagnaflowManufactured by the Chevrolet division of American automaker General Motors, the Chevrolet Trailblazer was a mid-size SUV . This car was launched in 1999 as an upscale trim line of the Blazer. In the year 2002, the Trailblazer was improved to a fresh platform (GMT370 for 7 passengers, GMT360 for 5 passenger models, and GMT305 for the Envoy XUV). The production of Blazer had common characteristics with the Trailblazer until 2005.
The Trailblazer had been successful in winning the North American Truck of the Year award in 2002. From 2002-2004 the 4.2 L I6 Atlas LL8 won Ward's Best Engine with ground-breaking features such as DOHC, Variable Valve Timing (VVT) on the exhaust camshaft, and GM's Patented "Lost-Foam" casting procedure. The Chevrolet Trailblazer is based on a truck platform, with all versions having four-wheel drive as an alternative with both automatic engagement and the more traditional "4 High" and "4 Low" gearings.
In 2002, the Trailblazer had superb looks, very rocky yet attractive. The car even controlled company and with the launch of the SS model, it proved to be one of the strongest sport SUV's in the bazaar. At the present six years later, the Trailblazer still appears the identical on the exterior with no mid model revisions apart from perhaps a headlight change or two, it is very much a stale cowboy gazing into more golden prospects. Base models consisted of windows that were removing any standard tinting, roof rack, plastics on the door handles, and lighting was inexpensive and unwanted too. And due to these negatives, the car has made a sour influence with Trailblazer's collapse safety ratings and long lasting toughness.
In the last, Chevrolet Blazer/Trailblazer will for all time be the one midsize SUV that has made the foundation for other winning models in the present market.
